Savory Dishes - Scrambled Tofu, Un-Sausages, Hashbrowns

Scrambled Tofu
Ingredients:
- 
½ onion chopped
 - 
¼ cup water
 - 
2 Tbsp oil
 - 
2 cups mashed tofu
 - 
4 tsp chicken style seasoning
 - 
½ tsp onion powder
 - 
2 tsp yeast flakes
 - 
½ tsp garlic powder
 - 
¼ tsp salt
 - 
1/4 tsp turmeric
 
Instructions:
- 
In a skillet saute the onions and water until tender.
 - 
Add the rest of the ingredients mix well and simmer on low for 20 min.
 
Un-Sausages
Ingredients:
- 
4 1/2 cup warm water
 - 
4 1/2 cups oats (1/2 quick and 1/2 rolled)
 - 
1/2 cup soy sauce
 - 
1/4 cup vegetable oil
 - 
1/4 cup yeast flakes
 - 
4 tsp honey
 - 
2 tsp sage
 - 
1/2 tsp italian seasoning
 - 
1 T onion powder
 - 
1 T garlic powder
 - 
1 1/2 cups chopped nuts
 
Instructions:
- 
Pre-heat the oven to 350ËšF and oil a cookie sheet.
 - 
Place all the ingredients into a pot except the oats.
 - 
Bring the liquid to a boil, add the oats and stir well and remove from heat.
 - 
Let the mixture sit for 10 min.
 - 
Using an oiled ice-cream scoop drop mounds of mix onto the oiled cookie sheet.
 - 
Flatten with a knife spatula or press into patties.
 - 
Bake the patties for 15 minutes on each side. Serve warm with
gravy or cheese sauce.
 
Hashbrowns
Ingredients:
- 
5 medium size red or idaho potatoes
 - 
4 Tb. olive oil
 - 
1 Tb. garlic
 - 
2 Tb. onion
 - 
1 Tb. paprika
 - 
3 Tb. yeast flakes
 - 
1 Tb. basil
 - 
2 tsp. salt
 
Instructions:
- 
Chopped the potatoes into chunks and place them in a bowl.
 - 
Add the oil, and seasoning and mix well.
 - 
Spread the potatoes out on a pan and bake at 375ËšF for 40 minutes or until golden.
 - 
Serve immediately.
